Students given opportunity to work in Energy Sector during one-week apprenticeship

Students from Great Yarmouth College, Flegg High, East Norfolk Sixth Form, Acle Academy, Caister, Stalham and Pakefield High applied for places on the OPITO Platform of Opportunity scheme, and spent time with firms to get a view on working in oil and gas. Companies like Gardline participated offering experience in soil sampling and seismic activities.

This programme is now in its second year and there is increasing interest from students and businesses.
