Norfolk teenagers are celebrating having achieved record A-level results
Students across the region are celebrating thanks to record A-Level Results received on 13th August. Figures from Norfolk County Council provided early results for the Norfolk’s secondary schools and academies showing 76% of A-levels results in Norfolk have been graded A* to C up from 75% on results day in 2014. The figure compares to an East of England total of 78.1% of A-levels being recorded at A* to C level.
James Joyce, chairman of Norfolk County Council’s Children’s Services Committee, said: “We want every young person in Norfolk to receive an excellent education and today’s results show that by working together, the County’s schools are well on the way to making this a reality."
